Movie Summary:
“Daagi” opens with the story of prisoner number 786, who has been sentenced to life in prison for a murder case. After serving his sentence, he returns home only to find that nothing remains the same. His little daughter has grown up, and his beloved wife no longer holds a place for him in her heart. The hope he had when returning is soon replaced by deep disappointment, and he leaves home once again.
Although the law has already punished him, society imposes a different kind of sentence. In the eyes of people, he is now a marked man – a “Daagi.” Local gangsters attempt to use this marked man for their own gain. When all doors seem closed, the former prisoner turns fierce. He decides to rise again and fight for a new life. What follows is a series of intense battles: Survive or Die, but never bow down.
With a compelling storyline, Daagi blends action, romance, and drama into a full-fledged narrative-driven film.
